How It All Started…

We strive to offer distinctive coffee and tea with the freshest and high-quality food

that satisfies and complements an urban lifestyle while providing efficient and personal service in a relaxed, attractive environment.

Coco Crepes, Waffles & Coffee is a fusion European café and creperie
founded by accomplished chef, Youssef Nafaa.

Every Saturday morning, Chef Nafaa would wake his family up to the aroma of crepes and coffee. With tiny feet shuffling down the stair case, his 3 sons would round the corner and rush to the kitchen – eager to be his faithful recipe tasters. Inspired by his sons, Chef Nafaa developed a menu using his experiences through world travels and culinary knowledge. The first crepe and what is known as the “Original Coco’s Crepe” was named after his son’s favorite bear, Coco that would sit in the kitchen with them every Saturday morning.

In 2005, Chef Nafaa opened the doors to Houston’s very first creperie!
